【WDA Achievement: A revisit to July 2016】

In July 2016, WDA launched the petition in the United Kingdom to urge the South Korean Government to end the brutal dog meat trade. In two months we acquired 100,000 UK citizens’ signatures on the Parliamentary petition urging the South Korean Government to end the brutal dog meat trade.

12 September 2016: Westminster Hall Debate

A Westminster Hall Debate was held on the issue. In response, the South Korean closed its biggest dog meat market, ahead the 2018 Winter Olympics.
