Theresa May was questioned at the Parliament yesterday after Giles Watling MP called for a dog and cat meat ban in UK. The Tory MP for Clacton asked May if she would committed to outlaw dog and cat meat consumption by supporting his amendment to Agriculture Bill.
Prime Minister did not address his concerns. She only gave a standard government response, which is disappointing. She told the Sun in August that she would follow suit after US legislation. However, no further actions have been taken so far.
