On 12th September 2016, WDA acquired 100,000 UK citizens’ signatures on the Parliamentary petition urging the South Korean Government to end the brutal dog meat trade.

A Westminster Hall Debate was held on the issue. In response, the South Korean closed its biggest dog meat market, ahead the 2018 Winter Olympics.
