On May 5th, we sponsored III Global Animal Law Conference held in the Hong Kong University in the city, in which we find our roots.

Why the Conference is Important

he Conference was launched on the notion to bring together experienced legal thinkers and writers in the area of animal law, in order to learn about how the different legal systems of the world were dealing with animal issues in their respective countries. It was homes to a group of law professors whose professional lives are intertwined with animal legal issues. If legislation is the ultimate solution to dog meat issues, the Conference may be the seed of said legislation in the future.
